Whether you’re an aspiring photographer or simply passionate about capturing the built environment, this hands-on session will provide invaluable insights into taking pictures of buildings, places and people. You don’t need a fancy camera but the workshop will work best if you have a device to take photos, which could be a phone etc. The point of the event is to look at your surroundings and think about what makes for an interesting image.
The workshop will begin at the London Centre, where Chris will introduce key techniques for composing striking architectural shots, balancing light and shadow, and telling a story through your images. After the presentation, we’ll head out on a guided photo walk to capture a selection of carefully chosen locations, putting theory into practice with expert guidance along the way.
The workshop concludes back at the London Centre, with a chance to review your shots and discuss the creative decisions behind them. It’s a chance to refine your approach, gain feedback and connect with fellow photography enthusiasts.
