The London Society has been running a series of events focused on housing, and we’re delighted to be hosted by The Georgian Group for a special event.
This discussion will explore how ideas and practices from the Georgian era have shaped London’s development — and how they might guide our responses to today’s housing challenges.
Held at The Georgian Group’s beautiful headquarters in Fitzroy Square, the evening will bring together some of the most engaging and knowledgeable voices in London’s built environment.
Across three themed sessions — Past, Present and Future — speakers will explore housing through the lenses of Economy, Design and Custodianship, considering how development models, urban design principles and stewardship structures have influenced the city and what lessons they offer for the future.
