MEMBERS ONLY | Humanise – a maker’s guide to building our world

**The London Society has been offered 6 FREE tickets for members to attend the upcoming Thomas Heatherwick lecture at the Southbank Centre. Enter the ballot for the chance for your name to be drawn. Ballot closes 13 October**

Why do so many places feel soulless and depressing? How did this happen and what can we do to reverse the global ‘blandemic’? In a new book published by Penguin, Thomas Heatherwick draws on the latest advances in neuroscience and cognitive psychology to call for radically more human buildings.

Join Thomas Heatherwick and Ekow Eshun on the Southbank for a fiercely passionate analysis of why we’re surrounded by buildings that make people sick and unhappy and damage the planet, and how we can make them better for everyone.
