MEMBERS ONLY | London of The Future : Architect@Work

Society members are invited to attend a special London of the Future panel discussion at Architect@Work. Representatives from architecture, local authorities and the GLA will be speaking about how the capital should improve in the years to come and the methods to bring this about. London has been known as ‘the big smoke’ but that is set to change. Designers and strategists are exploring regenerative techniques to make sure our wonderful city is cleaner, healthier and more in tune with the natural world. What will London look like in the next 100 years? This event is part of a series that are centred around our new book following a century hiatus: London of the Future.

Located in The Truman Brewery – itself an east London landmark that has been repurposed for a new use – this event is part of the renowned talks at Architect@Work that gather some of the best and brightest minds together to tackle the theme: People + Planet. The event will include refreshments and a chance to enjoy the exhibition of 200 innovative products, as well as a pop-up RIBA Bookshop.

Confirmed speakers for the event include:
Rob Fiehn, Director of the London Society (chair); Louise Duggan, GLAAnne Fehrenbach, Stanton WilliamsZeina Al-Derry, London Borough of Camden

**Please note: we will be passing on your details to the venue to send out their specific joining instructions as well as to make up delegate name badges.
