Pavilion Road is London’s longest mews, with a landscaped courtyard and running parallel to Sloane Street. Formerly Victorian stable blocks, the area was revamped in 2016 by Cadogan, following a community consultation. Pavilion Road is now home to restaurants, a butcher, baker, wine merchant, cheesemonger and greengrocer, as well as a barbers, stationers, general store and fishmonger.
The walking tour will include an insight into the development of George House, 131 Sloane Street, which led to the creation of the 19th century mews from a residential and service road into a chic shopping mecca.

126 Pavilion Road is one of the few period ‘PassivHouse’ properties in the UK, in the top 1% of UK domestic refurbishments to achieve BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating, with up to 85% reduction in energy consumption.
The tour will be led by Matthew Ryan, development project manager at Cadogan, property manager, investor and developer; Emily Watson, director of Stiff + Trevillion and associate director, Sean Crummey.
