On this tour we will delve into stories of women (and a few men) who advanced women’s equality in Britain and will explore how social attitudes to women (in and out of government) have shifted throughout the centuries. It’s a story that is not over yet…how far have we come in the fight for gender equality, and how far have we still to go?

About the Guide:
Rachel Cole-Wilkin is best known as the creator of London Loo Tours which she founded in 2013, inspired by her obsession with ‘where to go’ for free while exploring the city. She is a full-time freelance tour guide, covering a wide range of subject areas around London.
Access information:
The tour lasts 1.5-2 hours and covers approximately 1.5 miles at a gentle walking pace with stops every 5-7 minutes. The route is step free.
