WALK | Wapping – Wharves, Warehouses and Water

This event has now SOLD OUT
Please do add your name to the waitlist and we will contact you should a space become available.

This linear walk led by Blue Badge Tourist Guide Rosie Pollard, will follow the Thames eastwards through the old village of Wapping which has seen many changes over the years.

Originally a maritime village dependent on sea trade, it became part of the London docks for 170 years and once they closed it underwent yet another transformation.  En route we will pass by a variety of architecture including wharves, pubs and churches, infrastructure projects, and hear tales of artists, writers, police and pirates.
