This year we’re having a whole series of free events for London Society members.

As well as the recent Banister Fletcher, there will be a programme of online talks and conversations, so members will be able to access these from wherever they are in the world.

Coming soon are talk about that archetypal early 20th century housing, mansion blocks, and there will also be something on interior design.: First though, on 4 April, Robert Sellars, Nick Pendleton and Peter Watts will talk about London as the home of rock ‘n’ roll, with a discussion about Soho’s Marquee Club (which Nick’s parents ran), and the capital’s own Tin Pan Alley, Denmark Street. There’s more info here.

Then on 10 May Luke Agbaimoni will talk about his ‘Tubemapper’ project, a series of stunning photographs that attempt to capture images at all of London’s underground, overground and DLR stations. There’s more on that here.

As mentioned, these two events, and the others in the year, will be free to members of The London Society, so why not join today and make sure you have the best seat in the house for all of our webinars.
