Published by Frances Lincoln in the autumn of 2022, ‘House London’ is an extensive survey of the capital’s homes, created by writer (and Architecture Editor at Wallpaper* magazine) Ellie Stathaki and photographer Anna Stathaki.

Inspired by the diversity and imagination in the creative approaches found within London’s typical historical brick housing stock, the team composed a book that celebrates the variety and vision in domestic design, which is often hidden behind what can be perceived as fairly ordinary facades across the city.

Here Ellie and Anna take us through the book’s premise, some of its standout examples, and thoughts on housing, London and more.
