Celebrating Welsh architects with ties to London
13 Feb 2025
As part of Wales Week London 2025, the Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) and Pensaer are delighted to present an evening of networking and celebration, honouring the remarkable contributions of Welsh architects with ties to London.
The event is taking place on 27th February and will be hosted in 66 Portland Place, the home of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). This special event will highlight the significant impact of Welsh architects on London’s architectural landscape. Their innovative designs and ideas are not only shaping the city’s physical form but also influencing policy and approaches to urban development and regeneration.
You can register for a free ticket here.
This event is now in its fourth year and is growing due to the RSAW’s Local Initiative Fund, which enables architects to connect to new and existing networks, including the wider built and creative environments, gaining insights into the architectural world and to deliver projects which promote the industry.
The evening will feature:
A keynote address by distinguished guest speakers including:
A panel discussion with Welsh stained-glass artists including:
A performance by a London based Welsh Choir - Cor y Boro.
An exclusive exhibition showcasing the diverse and influential work of Welsh architects connected to London.
Refreshments including drinks and canapés.
