A new venture for the Society, as we dip a toe in the crowded waters of podcasting.

In this first London Society podcast, trustee and editor of OnLondon.co.uk Dave Hill tells the story of the ‘East Bank’ project and interviews some of its leading lights.

Taking shape in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, East Bank will become London’s biggest new culture and education hub, certainly since the more incremental creation of the South Bank and arguably since Prince Albert brought about the founding of South Ken. New buildings for University College London, the V&A, Sadler’s Wells, the BBC and the London College of Fashion are being completed there, most of them under the leadership of architects Allies and Morrison.
