Become an Ambassador for The London Society
17 Dec 2021
Could you help The London Society get its message across? And could you help the Society know about the key issues in your area?
We’re looking to appoint Society Ambassadors – one in each of the 32 London boroughs – as part of our focus in 2022 on “Connections”. If you think you can help, please let us have your details and we’ll be in touch in the new year.
Ambassadors would keep us up to speed about the current issues in their boroughs, whether that’s area regeneration, major new buildings, LTNs, open spaces – in fact, anything that you felt was worth bringing to the attention of the membership. We’d hope that you would make connections with local civic societies and community groups, as well as with borough councils. This would allow us to do a regular roundup of issues across the capital as a newsletter and for online, and look at things that might make useful discussions or tours in our events programme.
We’d keep you informed about the Society’s activities for you to feed this out to your connections and your local media and websites.
If you’re interested and are a member of the Society, just leave your contact details here and we will get in touch after Christmas.
