The London Society announces that Rob Fiehn will be stepping down as Director at the end of June 2025.
We thank Rob for his time with the Society as Director over the past two years. He played a central role in the development and publication of The Future of London in 2023, expanded key partnerships and helped to grow the Love Letters to London competition, encouraging a wide range of voices to reflect on the city’s past, present and future.

Rob Fiehn, Director said:
“Working to support the aims of The London Society has been the highlight of my career, first acting as a Trustee since 2019 and then moving into the role as Director in 2023. It is an incredible charity and one of London’s oldest civic societies. I am therefore very sad to announce my departure from the organisation but I want to take this opportunity to thank the board of trustees for all their wisdom and unwavering dedication, which has been truly inspiring to witness first-hand. While I’m stepping back from this role, I remain a passionate supporter of The Society and everything it stands for. I look forward to seeing how the charity continues to grow and thrive in the years ahead.”
In light of Rob’s departure, the Society is currently reviewing its structure and will provide an update on recruitment opportunities in due course.
